Hunters Sharing Harvest

 


Last hunting season there were over 4,000 lbs. (yes, 2 tons) of ground venison donated to help feed the hungry of Butler County.  Please consider donating all or part of your venison to help one of the food providers of Butler County.  In PA an estimated 450,000 peopler per month meet a part of their food needs through a food provider or soup kitchen.  Venison is an ideal food since it is a 100% natural, low fat, high protein food source.

Be sure to tell the processor to whom your venison should be donated.
If you know of another group that is accepting the meat, you may instruct the processor to prepare it for them.
