Fundraising Policy

In the event that a "product" is being marketed (i.e. fudge, jar mis, etc.) the proceeds with be divided with 20% of the proceeds going toward marketing and 80% going toward production.  Youth must sell a minimum of 10 units to be included in the marketing share.  The production share will be divided between each youth that attends the fundraiser based on hours worked.

Total profit x 20% = Market Share
Total profit x 80% = Production Share
Total marketing dollars/units sold by youth = $ amount per units sold by each youth
Total production dollars/total hours - $ amount per hour each youth worked
Marketing Share + Production Share = Total Youth Profit

In the event that a service is being provided (i.e. car wash, yard sale, etc.) the proceeds will be divided between each youth that attended the fundraiser based on hours worked.

Total dollars/total hours = $ amount per hour each youth worked

In the event that only marketing is done (i.e. Giant Eagle Gift Cards) the placement of the proceeds witll be decided by the group leaders at the time of the fundraiser.

In either event a parent can work for a youth if the youth is unable to attend, but a parent cannot work with a youth to get 2 shares of the profits.
